Special Report: Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

For a special live podcast, Chris Stachiw (The Kulturecast), Josh Haldey (1201 Beyond), and Mike joined up to discuss Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021): a film many years in the making. We discuss both the Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder versions. We compare the two to find any redemptive qualities in either and talk about how the newer version acts as origin stories for a few of the film's main characters.

Special Report: Alien Resurrection (1997)

On this special episode of The Projection Booth, we're looking at Alien: Resurrection, it's the next chapter (some might say last chapter) of the Alien Saga started by Ridley Scott back in 1979. Released in 1997, we re-join Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) five years after Alien 3 but 200 years after the events portrayed in David Fincher's film.

El Goro and Mike Thompson join Mike (White) to discuss the strange hybrid of 's American script and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's French sensibilities.
