Based on a book by with a screenplay by Mailer -- and maybe Tracy Keenan Wynn -- it’s the story of the last nine months in the life of Gary Gilmore which stars Tommy Lee Jones as Gilmore and Rosanna Arquette as his girlfriend, Nicole Baker.
