We begin with one from German emigre Fritz Lang with his 1952 film Rancho Notorious. The film stars Arthur Kennedy as a ranch hand Vern Haskell whose fiance is murdered.
Haskell goes on a quest of hate, murder and revenge where hee makes friends with a gunslinger named Frenchy (Mel Ferrer) and takes refuge as the Rancho Notorious which is run by Alter Keanee (Marlene Dietrich) with a whole host of potential suspects.
