Special Report: Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

Guest Co-Hosts: Josh Hadley, Chris Stachiw

For a special live podcast, Chris Stachiw (The Kulturecast), Josh Haldey (1201 Beyond), and Mike joined up to discuss Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021): a film many years in the making. We discuss both the Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder versions. We compare the two to find any redemptive qualities in either and talk about how the newer version acts as origin stories for a few of the film's main characters.

You can hear the edited version of the podcast or watch the un-edited version as a YouTube video below.

  1. So, Mike. This Snyder Cut episode was inspired. I've actually listen to the pod twice and then your entire hall of justice zoom call vid, which was great finally putting faces to the voices going on in my head, as it were. But, this show came out if left field and is immensely relistenable, which isn't a word, but applies. You not only substained interest for multiple hours, but it's addictive and gets better with each listen. I think you're on to something here, sir. Lightning in a bottle. Just one man's opinion, but you definitely violated the sixth commandment repeatedly, Mike.....cause you are KILLING IT

  2. Side Note: Happy to know you fall on the side of favoring Red Letter Media. The reason being is I find both you and that group having similar sensibilities in your approach to film criticism, which each of your shows have a very deadpan, sometimes very droll sense of humor which makes the sudden bursts of distain for a film or filmmaker all the more freaking hilarious. When one of your other co-host said he hated RLM and then the reasons he gave why, it was kind of amusingly awkward because he could have been describing you and your program. I'm assuming he likes your show if he's on it with you. I've said too much. I hope you all have a shared universe one day. The RLMPBEU, baby
