  1. Something you guys didn't mention: A few years before Black Dynamite, the Wayans Bros released a graphic novel called Super Bad James Dynomite. There was even talk of it being a movie. I've always wondered if these two projects happened independently of one another, but I've never been able to find any mention of a connection between the two.

  2. Nick - thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I think I may have seen this but completely forgot. I'm gobsmacked that the cover has that same black/white woman on the legs thing that Black Dynamite ends with and that's on the poster for Black Shampoo. Have you read Super Bad James Dynomite? I'm wondering if it's worth the scratch to pick up.

  3. Yeah, I have it. I bought it a few years ago so I haven't read it in a while, but I enjoyed it. Like everything Wayans, it's way overstated, so while it definitely shares a vibe with BD, it's a lot more out of control.
