Live Appearances from Detroit-based Podcast Hosts


Detroit, MI -- July 2, 2013 -- August conventions bring two chances to rub elbows with the hosts of The Projection Booth podcast (www.projection-booth.com), Mike White and Rob St. Mary.

On August 17 & 18, 2013, the inaugural Zombie Con happens at Michigan's premiere film school, the Motion Picture Institute (MPI) in Troy, Michigan, USA.

Zombie Con brings together Horror Fans, Creators, Artists, Novelists, Film Makers and Zombie Lovers of all ages. The event features guest speakers, zombie-themed art for sale, make-up demonstrations, inter-active events, and a zombie beauty pageant! The convention includes a two-day film festival with rare and world premieres of zombie movies including the award-winning documentary Birth of the Living Dead ahead of its worldwide release from First Run Features and Portrait of a Zombie from Ireland.

Mike White and Rob St. Mary will be part of Zombie Con's panel discussions along with Dave Alexander (Rue Morgue magazine), author David Hayes (Cinema Head Cheese) and others TBA.

A few days later, Mike White will be a part of the 10th annual Rue Morgue Festival of Fear in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Running August 22-25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, the Festival of Fear features panels, attractions and celebrity guests including several previous guests of The Projection Booth podcast like Joe Dante (The Howling, Gremlins), Lloyd Kaufman (Tromeo and Juliet, The Toxic Avenger, Terror Firmer).

Mike White will be a part of the "Misadventures in Horror Podcasting" panel moderated by the Godfather of Horror Talk Radio and host of the Rue Morgue Podcast, Stuart Feedback Andrews. The panel takes you down the rabbit hole of podcasting delirium with Last Chance Lance (Rue Morgue), Michael Felsher (Dead Pit Radio), Alexandra West and Andrea "Hellbat" Subissati (The Faculty of Horror). Feedback and company will explore the ins and outs, and highs and lows, of proliferating in the dark realm of horror talk radio.
